for women and minority students

Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education (EDGE), held alternately at Spelman and Bryn Mawr Colleges
This program is "designed to strengthen the ability of women and minority students to successfully complete graduate programs in the mathematical sciences."

Research in Industrial Projects for Students ("RIPS") at UCLA's Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics
This program creates teams of 3-5 undergraduates paired with faculty mentors and industry liaisons whose goal is to solve real-world industrial problems.
