- There will be periodic homework assignments. I will ask that assignments be turned in by email in TeX. I write lectures up in TeX and include student solutions to homework problems. At the end of the semester we'll thus have comprehensive TeX notes for the course.
- We will use class time for students to present solutions to homework problems.
- There will be no exams and no final.
- Departmental Grading Appeals Policy: Students who
believe their academic evaluation has been prejudiced or capricious
have recourse for appeals to (in order) the instructor, the
departmental chair, the departmental appeals committee, and the
college appeals committee.
