Nebraska Research Experience for Undergraduates in Applied Mathematics
This Nebraska REU in Applied Mathematicsis an eight-week summer research opportunity for ten students offered by The Department of Mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln under a grant from the National Science Foundation. The University campus is right on the edge of the downtown area. Lincoln is a town of about 235,000 people that is home to the University of Nebraska and the state government. The University of Nebraska Lincoln is the state's major research university with 22,000 students whose mission is research, teaching, and service. The Department of Mathematics has major research groups in applied mathematics, algebra, and analysis and a national reputation for excellence in education.
