About

I am a fourth year graduate student from the UNL Mathematics department advised by Professor George Avalos. My research is in applied analysis and partial differential equations. Currently, we are studying the analyticity of a particular fluid-structure interaction (FSI) model.

Outside of my graduate work, I am an avid runner, hiker, and rock climber. I also can frequently be found knitting, reading, or baking. I ran my first in-person half marathon in November 2020 and look forward to many future races. For rock climbing, I am usually seen at either the UNL Outdoor Adventures Center climbing wall, or at Lincoln's bouldering gym, MW Climbing. When I have a bit more time, my husband and I enjoy hiking and backpacking together, most frequently in Colorado and Wyoming.
