Research. It's not just for graduate students. During two short months of a Research Experience for Undergraduates, held at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, a team composed of two undergraduates and one faculty advisor imagined and developed a novel model for studying solid tumor growth in the context of the human body. Integrating proficiency in biology and mathematics, a viable, testable, stoichiometric model was produced. This presentation systematically reviews the methodology taken by the group from inception of the REU project until the conclusion of the REU (because research never really ends).
