| We will discuss two- and three-dimensional food chain models. If we make basic assumptions on the relative growth rates of each species, we get a singularly perturbed system of ODE's. We analyze the two-dimensional case fairly completely and we discuss one possible scenario in the three-dimensional case. In this scenario, chaos arises. |
