Curriculum Development at UNL:

  • A main contributor to UNL's open educational resource used as course textbook for precalculus and trigonometry courses at UNL.
  • Served as Associate Convener for Math 103 in . Here I wrote exams, quizzes, and coordinated all sections of Math 103 in the Spring and Fall of 2018.
  • Worked on developing our course packets and online WeBWork problems for Math 103.

Organizing Committee for NCUWM (2019-2020)

  • National conference held annually in Nebraska for Undergraduate Women in Mathematics.

Co-PI for URICA-KUMUNU Jr. (2019-2020)

  • Served as a Co-PI for this annual NSF-funded conference for graduate students and post-docs in commutative algebra held each Spring at UNL.

Central States Mathematics Undergraduate Conference (2019)

  • Served as a graduate mentor for the undergraduate attendees at the conference.

Math Resource Center Tutor (2013-Present)

  • Helped tutor undergraduate students in lower level mathematics courses at UNL and at DePaul University.

Math Day Volunteer (2015-Present)

  • Annual event at UNL with about 1500 high school students across Nebraska in attendance.

My research is in the field of Commutative Algebra. More specifically, I work with rings of characteristic p>0 and have been working with non-noetherian rings more recently.
