The ninth annual URiCA(pronounced like eureka)-KUMUNUjr conference will be on April 25-26, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Inspired by the success of the KUMUNU commutative algebra conferences (KU, MU, NU) KUMUNUjr brought together graduate students and postdocs studying commutative algebra in the Midwest, a term that now stretches from Utah to Michigan and North Dakata to Texas, to share their research and expertise while building lasting collaborations and friendships. Upcoming Researchers in Commutative Algebra, URiCA, is the next page of KUMUNUjr. We want to continue our mission to promote interaction among junior researchers, graduate students and postdocs, while branching outside our initial triad. If you would like more information, please contact one of the organizers.
The URiCA-KUMUNU Jr. organizing committee is tracking the status of COVID-19 and its health impacts. At this time, we are continuing to move forward with our plans for the conference, April 25-26, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus. We are currently optimistic that the meeting will not be interrupted, but we will keep you updated as we learn more. We are currently following recommendations from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s COVID-19 website.
