Spring 2005 Math 412 sections G13 and G14

Announcements:
(Apr 29) Next week on Mon May 2 and Wed May 4 we will have two optional lectures on random graphs/scale-free graphs and the graph minor theorem. These optional lectures will not be covered on the final.
The final exam will be Tues, May 10, from 1:30pm-4:30pm in 345 Altgeld. The final will be cumulative and similar in format to the tests.

Tests:
    Tests are on Mondays Feb 21, Mar 28, and Apr 25. The tests will be two hours long and given outside of class at a time to be decided.
Final Exam:
    Tues, May 10, 1:30pm-4:30pm, Altgeld Hall Room 345

(Apr 9) The third test is on Mon, April 25, either from 6-8pm in 145 Altgeld or 7-9pm in 143 Altgeld. You can come to either time. The test will cover all material up to and including coloring of planar graphs.
(Mar 9) The second test is on Mon, March 28, either from 6-8pm in 145 Altgeld or 7-9pm in 143 Altgeld. You can come to either time. The test will cover all material up to and including flows in networks. Since the week before is spring break, I strongly recommend that students begin reviewing now so that they can ask any questions before spring break.
(Feb 14) The first test is on Mon, Feb 21, either from 6-8pm in 145 Altgeld or 7-9pm in 143 Altgeld. You can come to either time. The test will cover all material up to and including the recurrence for counting the number of spanning trees of a graph.
