·       Here are the sample files used in the first day introduction of LaTeX:

·       If you need to know the code for a particular symbol, a useful resource is DeTeXify.

·       Here are some more resources (stolen from Laura Lynch’s IMMERSE website):

o   A First Look at LaTeX: This is a bit more detailed than what we covered in the introduction session. It's a great guide if you are still uncomfortable with LaTeX. (Note, this guide refers to other files that can be found here.

o   Web-based Introductory Guide: This is a great guide for the beginner who wants a better idea of what all can be accomplished with LaTeX.

o   In-Depth PDF LaTeX Guide: This is a great reference when you aren't sure how to do something particular.

o   In-Depth LaTeX Symbol Guide: This tells you how to make just about any conceivable mathematics symbol with LaTeX.
