Office Hours: Monday 9:30 - 10:30 AM, Tuesday 11 - 12 PM, Wednesday 1:30 - 2:30 PM

Blackboard: I will be posting most course documents (including all of the above), as well as the grades I have for you at any given time, on http://my.unl.edu.

Gateway: There will be two computer exams this semester. The first is on differentiation and the second is on integration. The dates for differentiation are Sept. 4 - 17; the dates for integration are Sept 25 - Oct 8. You can take the exams in the Arts & Sciences testing center or in the comptuter lab in the basement of Avery. You can take practice tests here.

The two tests are worth 75 points. To pass a test you must score at least 8 out of 10, for which you will receive 35 points. If you pass both exams you will receive an extra 5 points making a total of 75.

Here is a very good graphing utility.

This has some very good visualization software that will become more relevant as the class goes on.

This does a good job with contour plots and partial derivatives (although it doesn't seem to work with Firefox).
