About Amanda

I completed my Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2013. In July 2013, I began a position as Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Concordia University Irvine.

My research area is commutative algebra, and Srikanth Iyengar is my Ph.D. advisor. In particular, I am interested in homological algebra, maximal Cohen-Macaulay modules, and Gorenstein rings.

My non-math hobbies include biking, traveling, reading, and playing with my cats.
