More generally, there is a page on Learning Calculus, that I used to host (but don't anymore), which is really about Learning Calculus at New Mexico State University, but nearly everything on it is universally applicable, and not just to calculus! This turned out to be the most-often-hit page at NMSU, in large part because of a link to it from the Calculus Hater's Page. Try to find the link! It was still there as of 6/5/06.
