Who we are:

A group of UNL female undergraduates interested in developing a social network to discuss different mathematical and non-mathematical issues that we might encounter during and after college. Look at our scheduled events and hope to see you soon!

Thursday, August 26, 6:00 pm in the courtyard outside of Avery Hall (on the East side of Avery).
Ice Cream Social! Come and meet old and new members of WUMN and find out about WUMN activities.
This event follows the Math Club talk given in Avery 106 by Professor Steve Dunbar. See the Math Club list of events for more details.

Thursday, October 8, 5:00pm – 6:00pm in 348 Avery
Panel discussion on balancing career and family responsibilities. Panelists: Prof. Eileen Hebets (Biology Department) and Prof. Christina Brantner (Department of Modern Languages) Moderator: Professor Sylvia Wiegand. Come and learn how three successful women advanced in their careers while raising their families. Graduate students welcome!
