Support

The AMS annually publishes an Assistantships and Graduate Fellowships Guide to Graduate Programs.

Besides support from the institution, there are several national fellowship programs, notably the NSF, NDSEG, NPSC (particularly for women and minorities), SMART, and Homeland Security.

Many graduate schools are signatory to an agreement sponsored by the Council of Graduate Schools where grad schools will not require acceptances of offers until April 15.
