A little bit about me...

I am a Nebraska native who recently graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a PhD in Mathematics. During my time at UNL, I worked closely with my dissertation advisors, Dr. Nathan Wakefield and Dr. Yvonne Lai, as well as with Dr. Wendy Smith. My research focuses on the relational dynamics and cultural shifts involved in implementing evidence-based teaching practices. This research informs my teaching, which centers on building relationships with my students and engaging them in their learning. In my free time, I enjoy staying active with my husband, Pete. Our newest hobby is playing outdoor pickleball.
