| Readers may notice a different format for the Fall 2000 Edition
of Patterns. Our Career Special features the real life experiences
of recent UNL graduates in pre-medicine, mathematics, computer science,
agricultural engineering, and biological systems engineering. Hopefully
our stories will increase teacher and student knowledge about the
exciting opportunities available to those with mathematics and science
skills. We extend our special thanks to the faculty and graduates
who answered our questionnaires and agreed to interviews.
