UNL's Advanced Placement Institute: June 23-28, 2002

The Advanced Placement (AP) Institute at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is for teachers of existing or proposed Advanced Placement courses, enriched classes, or accelerated classes in grades 10 through 12. The Advanced Placement Program provides students with the opportunity to pursue college level studies while in secondary school.

The Institute will provide participants with an overview of the AP Program but is designed as well, to address the individual needs of the participants. Registrants will receive a list of recommended readings and related assignments to be completed before arrival on campus with a final project due on July 12, 2002. Each Institute carries two graduate semester credit hours. The opening reception on Sunday, June 23, 2002, at 6 p.m. includes a meal and provides an opportunity to meet with instructors and various other university administrators.
