In June 2000, fourteen teachers explored the Nebraska countryside,
discovering enriching information about Nebraska history and geology.
After the trip, the participants created curriculum units for classroom
use. "Travel Nebraska to Teach Science", a five-day tour
of Nebraska, was funded by the Dwight D. Eisenhower Professional Development
