Thirty high school girls attended It’s A Math Thing last July
20th and 21st. The camp included hands-on sessions discussing a variety
of math-related topics, such as street networks and the geometry of
soap bubbles. At an evening banquet, speakers from academia and the
private sector spoke about their experiences as women working in math
and science fields.
