October 19th-21st, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics
(NCTM) will hold its Central Regional Conference in Omaha, Nebraska.
The conference will emphasize the recently released Principles and
Standards for School Mathematics. Organizers have planned more than
200 sessions and workshops. Teachers from all grade levels will be
