Information for Presenters

All of the rooms in which talks were given have document cameras with electronic projectors. Some of the rooms have other equipment, typically a computer and/or a connection for a laptop computer. If you wish to use this equipment to present, you may, but:

Wireless accounts

Visitors who bring laptops with wireless cards can use the eduroam network, or request a temporary wireless account from UNL. For the latter option, just connect to the UNL-Guest network, open a browser, and follow the directions.

Parking

On the registration page you can indicate that you will be driving to the conference and the organizers will obtain parking passes for a lot near both the hotel and campus. Additionally, there is a parking garage on the UNL campus, one block from Avery Hall, that typically is free on weekends (or $1/hr up to $5/day, if not free). No overnight parking is permitted in the garage.

Dining

There are many restaurants within walking distance in the downtown area for lunch and dinner as well as the Nebraska Union. A list of restaurants will be available at the registration desk.
