I am a post-doctoral research associate in the mathematics department at the University of Nebraska -- Lincoln, working in the Mathematical Neuroscience Lab with Vladimir Itskov and Carina Curto. In June of 2010, I received my PhD from the the University of Oregon, working with Dev Sinha on the topology of spaces of knots. For the 2010-11 and 2011-12 academic years, I was a visiting assistant professor at Willamette University, during which time I was also a Project NExT fellow. See my CV for further details.
When I am not teaching or doing research, I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading, working with computers and playing games.
