Conference on Unexpected and Asymptotic Properties of Algebraic Varieties

We are pleased to announce a conference to celebrate the many accomplishments of Professor Brian Harbourne.

The conference will feature plenary talks by experts in algebraic geometry and commutative algebra as well as shorter talks or posters by recent PhDs.

Registration and participant support

To register for the conference please fill out the registration form by April 1st, 2020.

Most conference participants will be staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Downtown Lincoln. Please indicate the nights that you will need accommodation for on your registration forms and we will make the necessary reservation for you. Please contact Marilyn Johnson if you need assistance with arranging lodging.

We have secured funds from NSF and NSA in order to offset accommodation and some transportation costs. Priority for these funds will be given to early career participants, under-represented minorities, US citizens, and those who do not have other sources of federal funding.
